There’s so many different aspect configurations that mean various things when you can spot the configuration in a chart you can make an assessment right away It does take practice or at least and eye to be able to spot out aspects in any given chart so here is an easier way you can identify aspect configurations in a chart. Anytime a planet making an aspect to a set of planets, the relationship between the set of planets an aspect configuration is being formed and it is significant. Example When checking the aspect grid along the Venus row and column, it has a total of 8 aspects: 2 squares+ 2quincunx +2 trines + 1 sextile + 1 semisquare. We are only interested in the repeating aspects, so whatever 2 planets that Venus is squaring will be in aspect to each other. That aspect is what is important. Venus will be the apex planet for instance and it is squaring Mars and Jupiter . The relationship between Mars and Jupiter completes the aspects configuration. Mars and Jupiter are in an opposition forming configuration called a T square. So even not knowing what the configuration is , you know that it’s making a configuration .From that point you can Google it to search what the configuration is and how it works. Any planet with repeat ( same) aspects will be the apex planet. The aspect itself will vary. If venus we’re making a quincunx aspect the planetary relationship between the other two planets were in sextile that would create a yod. Can you spot any aspect configurations in your chart now?
